Bamboo partners with LACNIC to simplify payment collection for clients in Argentina.

Bamboo, a leading digital payments provider, is pleased to announce its partnership with Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC). The primary goal of this partnership is to streamline the payment process for LACNIC’s clients in Argentina by addressing foreign exchange challenges and providing a seamless local payment solution that ensures transactions are settled efficiently in USD.

Due to complex forex operations in Argentina, LACNIC has found it challenging to get paid by its Argentine clients. It resulted in the LACNIC clients’ inability to remit USD payments abroad from Argentina.

In May 2024, Bamboo launched a local bank transfer solution to address the challenges LACNIC faced with payments from clients in Argentina due to foreign exchange complexities.


With this solution, LACNIC’s clients can now make local bank transfers in Argentina, while LACNIC receives the funds in USD in Uruguay. Thanks to Bamboo’s API integration, the entire payment flow is fully automated, allowing clients to pay directly through LACNIC’s customer platform and providing LACNIC with instant transaction approvals, ensuring both efficiency and reliability in their revenue collection process.
