What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day compliance activities for our Panama operations.
- Monitor relevant regulatory developments and help implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Conduct due diligence, maintain compliance records, and support monitoring and reporting activities.
- Help identify, assess, and address compliance risks across the business.
- Draft, review, and support the negotiation of commercial agreements.
- Provide practical legal and compliance guidance to internal teams.
- Coordinate with external advisers and support responses to regulatory requests as needed.
Requirements
- A law degree.
- Relevant experience in compliance, with knowledge of the Panamanian regulatory environment.
- Experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory. You must be comfortable reviewing and drafting legal documents and conducting business discussions in English.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
